I studied biology at the University of Gdańsk (2006–2011), and graduated with an MSc diploma in Environmental Biology, specialization in archeobotany. I started my PhD project at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Faculty of Biology, Department of Behavioural Ecology (2011–). This project is still ongoing. It is dedicated to the social eavesdropping in corncrake (Crex crex). The aim of this research is to experimentally verify whether vocal communication in territorial corncrake males has the characteristics of a communication network and to demonstrate how social eavesdropping affects subsequent decisions by males during territory defense.

I am currently working as a technician at the Wild Urban Evolution& Ecology Lab. My hobbies include travelling, trekking, literature and Polish traditional dances and music.
